Amidst the hustle and bustle of midterms, it is sometimes hard to find time to take a break.  In fact, relaxation often seems like the last thing you should be doing when assignments are piling up, and student organizations are becoming more time consuming.

Even though it may seem counter-intuitive to take some time to breathe in times of stress, I think Sydney Harris had it right when she said, “the time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.” It can be so easy to get caught up in the business of our schedules, but even a few moments of journaling, going for a walk, listening to music or simply sitting a day can be huge.

If you are looking for a way to relax, be sure to attend the Chill Out & Wellness Fair, Thursday, November 4th from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM in the Banquet Rooms. It is a fabulous opportunity to learn about campus and community wellness organizations. There will be free snacks, massages, and arts & crafts as well as an opportunity to win raffle prizes.
